This blog will consist of small random segments of what I do in my free time. It could for example be a review of a game/movie/song I have seen/heard. It could also be a great recipe or a story about something that has happened to me on a vacation, or maybe even a recipe!

Today I found this very informative site which is called: Mathbabes. This is probably a good way to make math a bit more interesting. I personally think I am going to read up “Basic interest” and “Irrational numbers & surds” if you understand what I mean ;-)
But anyways just wanted to share this link with you people:
I have been obsessed with submarines as of lately, it is most likely because I have watched jefmajor’s Let’s Play of silent hunter 4 (I can vouch for him by the way he has a very cool channel with LP’s of different games). But this sudden obsession with submarines has given me an unquenchable thirst for submarine movies.
Yesterday I watched Crimson Tide which I think was pretty good. It is from 1995, but even though it is 16 years old, I still think it has a very relevant plot and moral after my opinion. The movie gives a good picture of the problems with nuclear power and what could happen if it falls in the wrong hands.
In the movie the protagonist Lt. Commander Ron Hunter represents a new and more educated view on nuclear warfare, this makes him almost the exact opposite of the captain Frank Ramsey who has been in the navy for 30 years. This big difference between the captain and his second in command is what makes the movie interesting.
But I do not want to spoil too much if you want to see it, so here is the trailer:
